PLAY OF THE WEEK

It is safe to say there is one derby that never seems to run out of juice and that is the Old Firm. The feistiest of fixtures was edged out by Rangers thanks to a Filip Helander goal. The goal was more of a smash and grab as Celtic looked the hungrier and the more likely of the two to score. The play of the week is taken by Rangers goalkeeper McCrorie who was excellent this game along with his back four which had the goal scorer and Goldson as well. McCrorie’s save from the vibrant Furuhashi on the clip straight after the Rangers goal was all about THINKING ON YOUR FEET. He was diving the wrong way and used his legs ALA De Gea to divert a sure goal by the Japanese away from goal to safety. With that win Rangers go three clear of their bitter rivals into third while Celtic are who already have two defeats in the first 4(unthinkable in a so called weaker league) lie sixth.
