TOUR DE ROMANDIE STAGE 3

What an absolute shitty time to crash for yellow jersey holder Rohan Dennis. Marc Soler of Movistar taking over the overall lead following his lonely sprint in the final downhill. Rohan’s crash occurred near the finish and he ended the race in the group behind the leading peloton.

Magnus Cort finished second winning the two rider sprint for that spot with Peter Sagan . Rainy and cloudy conditions were prevalent on Friday making the sprints very tricky indeed particularly the downhills. Crash prevention 101. Crashes tend to be common in sharp turns during wet conditions. To avoid such the 🚴 must not cut the corner too sharply and not lean too heavy into the curve. Not forgetting keeping tires with visible threads for traction.
