Complacency was Portugal’s ultimate enemy in this one. Jota’s two headed finishes from crosses by Benardo and Cedric had Portugal in the driving seat at half time. Serbia came back after the interval inspired by Stoikovic’s half time team talk and those two subs. Fulham’s Mitrovic who struck an impressive double against Ireland in match day 1, picked up where he left off with a trademark headed finish 5 minutes after the break. Kostic leveled soon after taking advantage of tentative defending from Portugal. You can have the best players in the world but if they do not have that desire to win ,they are on an equal level to any team
