VOLTA A CATALUNYA STAGE 3

Adam Yates of Ineos Grenadiers took command of the overall standings after finishing strongest at the summit finish. He takes over from Joao Almeida who finished 16th. This 203 km stage which consists of flat ascending planes was perfect for the break and sit tactic. Yates took charge of the race with 5 kilometres to go and won by about 13 seconds from second placed Esteban Chaves.
