CHAMPIONS LEAGUE:CHELSEA VS ATLETICO DE MADRID

Chelsea’s counter attacking flair shone through at Stamford Bridge as they reach the last 8 at the expense of Diego Simeone’s men. Timo Werner created the opener for the blues using his speed to counter an attack from Atletico and squaring for Ziyech to score. Another counter in injury time at the end of the match was finished off superbly by fringe full back Emerson. Mendy was in top form for Chelsea saving well from Joao Felix toward the end of the match. How about that great spot from the referee for the Savic red card. He did not even need VAR to see it, all the more impressive as it was an off the ball incident in a crowded Atletico box. What a spicy encounter could fate give us if Liverpool and Chelsea are paired off in the quarter finals.
