PARIS-NICE RACE STAGE 2 2021

Given those sharp bends on the course, a crash was inevitable. On the 1km bend, the narrow road caused the bunching of riders. You got to love the burst at the end by Cees Bol. The flat course was made for the sprints. Michael Matthews who came in third took the overall lead from stage 1 winner Sam Bennett. Cycling is more like chess , riders have the strategic goal in mind. You could see the front runners in the final peloton having a look over their shoulders to see where Sam is(He finished fifth).
