ABN AMRO WORD TENNIS TOURNAMENT:RUBLEV VS TSITSIPAS

Andrey kept Stefanos on the back foot with a solid first serve. Right from the off you could see it was going to be a difficult game for Tsitsipas especially if forced deep into the baseline. He lost concentration on break point 1-1 double faulting to hand the break to Rublev. There were glimpses of the Tsitsipas who went all the way to the semis if the Australian Open. The forehand down the line after stretching to get to the ball was such a moment. In the end he would lose to the better player 6-3 7-6.

Rublev will now face Hungarian qualifier Marton Fucsovics in the final. Martin beat fellow qualifier Borna Coric of Croatia. If you are thinking what I am thinking that this will be a one sided boring final think again. He might have benefited from being in the right side of the draw where the seeds had an off week but he has earned his place playing great tennis.
