What a year it has been Meccalites. The pandemic threatened to put sports on ice for the majority of the year but most governing bodies managed to come up with a plan backed by political and government offices. The Tokyo Olympics did not happen sadly but have since been postponed to next year.The European Championships for soccer were also postponed to allow the clearing of the league and Euro club competition backlog.Wimbledon suffered the same fate. Thankfully those are the only major sporting events which were called off. The below is what I think are the best moments of the year. Enjoy your New Year festivities responsibly.
