You might be surprised by the heading but it rings oh so true. Leeds United are the only team in the hold tjhat can leave the pitch and hold their head high after conceding six goals. Football purists love a side like Leeds for their catch as catch can style of play. Football pragmatists say their cavalier style will get them relegated eventually if they do not plug holes exposed by the opposition. I hope you relate to me, I am a football fan and I want to be entertained. So keep up the good work Leeds.

MANCHESTER UNITED took the lead after 60 seconds through man of the match McTominay, assist from Fernandes. He added a second a minute later, being put through by Martial for a tidy finish. Bruno Fernandes also get a brace, one a volley between the defender’s legs in the 20th minute the other a pen after Martial was clumsily fouled in the 70th minute. Shocking corner kick defending allowed defender Lindelof to side foot home for 3-0 . Leeds pulled one back through a majestic header from Liam Cooper with three minutes to go to half time. After the break Leeds looked the side who was 4-1 up testing De Gea at every opportunity, Raphinha getting the best out of the Spanish goal minder. Against the run of play, Welshman Daniel James made it 5-1 with a left footed shot between the legs of Messlier. The pick of the bunch came from Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas whose shot from outside the box is a contender for goal of the week.

Manchester United are now third of the log, five points adrift of Liverpool in first but holding a game in hand over the top six sides. Leeds(14th) now have the worst defensive record in the division but have the best scoring record among the bottom 22 sides in the league. It seems our entertainment is to their detriment.

Success! You're on the list.
