I will get straight to the point here about the fading giants that is Man City. They have hit a plateau in terms of progression. They have become a little predictable at the moment.Short passes then try to find Sterling to cut back to Jesus or to score himself. What do they need to do to ?Vary the play a little.Go route one. It is still allowed to play ugly to win. I like the young man from their academy, Delap. He adds a different dimension. He is big, good in the air. I am certain if one of the late chances to head home the winner(From Sterling and Gundogan) had fallen to him, the league table would have looked a little different this morning.
Sterling created the Gundogan goal in the 30th minute finding him expertly unmarked in the 18 yard box. He had a good game, Sterling although his goals have dried up recently. The Baggies equalizer was no fault of anyone in particular. It was just the tenacity of Ajayi that shone through and made the luck happen.A valuable point in a relegation dog fight for West Brom. Not many of their rivals will go to the Etihad and get a point so they can pat themselves in the back. Sam Johnstone probably won the point for them with excellent De Gea like saves with his legs in injury time.
