He had a talent that lasts a generation. It is not a coincidence that Argentina has not been able to capture the WORLD CUP ever since he called time on his illustrious career. Today I had to start with him because most of us got involved with soccer because we wanted to be just like him. We wanted to single handed take on the world and conquer it like he did at Mexico 86. I have dug deep into the archives to find his goals as a teenager at Boca Juniors that persuaded FC Barcelona to take him to Camp Nou in 1982.
