The Zebra strip made an incredible debut in Paris yesterday with Marcus Rashford repeating his heroics of 2 years ago. The 2-1 result was more or less what United deserved having weathered the early second half storm that PSG designed. But I am curious as to why Anthony Martial tried to head a ball with his eyes closed resulting in the PSG goal. When I was a youngster the coaches used to tell me always head the ball with your eyes wide open. But hey what do I know. VAR may have been the butt of all jokes in recent weeks but it fought back with a vengeance last night. Spot on decisions by VAR in this match as well as the Rennes game regarding the penalties deserve a pat on the back.
