Suck it in Inter and Milan fans. Yes your sides occupy the top 2 in Serie A. Enjoy it while it last hey. It makes this weekend’s Milan derby very interesting indeed. Both sides I must say have used the transfer market wisely and have recruited in key areas notably Milan with Tonali who I think is the next Gatusso and Internationale with Darmian who I think is one of the most underrated and disciplined defenders around.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns and will line up against Romelu Lukaku in the battle of the ex Man United strikers. Lukaku will be one to watch,he is in a no nonsense goalscoring mood for club and country. For Milan their best player is their left back Hernandez whose overlapping runs are an asset to the Rossonerri. Call me an old fashioned skeptic but I doubt both sides can last in the title race against the juggernaut that is Juventus. The last team to win the scudetto which isn’t Jive is….drum roll please…. AC Milan 10 years ago. I might not be crazy to assume they won’t challenge Juve after all.
